I suppose I like Thursday pace exercises as a result of this one felt surprisingly nice!  It was good to be outdoors and never fear about slipping on ice too.

Friday Favorites & Glimpse! – The Hungry Runner Woman

Opening gels with frozen fingers is tough; I used to be reminded of that yesterday.  I had a number of graham crackers and a gel earlier than the run, a gel at mile 6ish, and one other at 10.

16 miles @ 7:17 common with 2 x 2 miles + 1 mile + 5 x 200ms.  I felt fairly robust with the exercise (and a 2nd quickest time on the primary section, wahoo), which was so wanted.  I’m high-quality persevering with ahead with a bunch of runs that really feel further onerous so long as I can get just a little glimpse of health now and again ha.

Shorts when it was 21° F was a dangerous selection, however I used to be glad I did…

*Lauren Fleshman’s e-book.  I completed it earlier this week and I would like each runner and coach to learn it.  Wow.  I devoured that one.  I appeared ahead to any probability I had (even when doing laundry!) to take heed to it, however now I wish to purchase a duplicate of the e-book to spotlight it.   It’s proper up there with Deena’s e-book for me now.

*Andrew and I each have one in all these and use them each day for our scorching or chilly drinks.  I’ve been obsessive about Stanley water bottles for years and am now obsessive about their mugs as a result of we’re normally on the go, and they’re simple to take in all places.
